Non seulement rien n´a été cassé ni même abîmé mais l´équipe qui a travaillé dans la bonne humeur est efficace, aimable, serviable et organisée tant pour l´emballage que le déménagement lui-même et la reprise des cartons.
Il y a un réel esprit d´équipe et les plus adroits sont complémentaires des plus costauds.
Ce sont vraiment des Gentlemen du Déménagement, nous les remercions et les recommander sur.

At the new address, they handled a Velux window expertly, got everything in (I felt very bad for the poor young guy on the roof!), and had everything assembled again in under an hour. In short, my entire morning was made so much better just having these guys in charge! No damages to any of my things, and top care was taken by all of them.
These guys really are top professionals, they allayed 90% of my stress, were super kind and pleasant, cheerful, and no-nonsense! I cannot thank you all enough! When I move again, I am 10000% returning to Moortgat!
(P.S. The leader looked very much like a young Adam Sandler, and honestly, he had the same sense of humour - perfect for me, since I'm a huge huge huge fan!!).Lire la suite

Totally incompetent management (father and son), incapable of making a correct volume/time estimate and ignoring the client's precise care instructions. While an already very expensive forfeit was signed, I was charged for an imposed extra work day, lots of overtime and packing equipment (100% missing from my forfeit!) amounting to an additional 1,000€+, ironically the exact amount claimed for to restore the ancient piece of furniture they had fully destroyed (among other items). They did not even bother to submit my claim with their insurance company (while an insurance fee based on 20,000€ was included in the forfeit). After taking legal advice, I just paid the initial forfeit, ignoring their abusive bill, and never heard a word back from them. But I was left with a fully broken precious family cabinet and a net loss of +1,000€. However I decided to let go and avoid further litigation. Clearly, a very poor performance and a clever longtime abusive 'strategy' (which the staff is well aware of, regret and attempt to compensate for). I spare you all the many other issues I dealt with due to their incompetence, disorganization and lack of timeliness. They did not even finish the work. They do not hold ANY of their promises. Their team at the Belgian end (packing and removing) were excellent, couteous, hard-working professionals.
The move arrived in Geneva promptly and as planned, with a team of 2 from Moortgat, supplemented by 3 movers from a Swiss company. The Moortgat team were again excellent -- hard-working, courteous, cheerful professionals.
The Swiss team by contrast were rude and lazy. My daughter asked: 'Why are the Belgians doing all the work?' The Swiss team's manager also tried to bully us into a very high supplemenetary charge. The Moortgat managers took over and made sure the charges were correct.
We are very grateful for the excellent services provided by Moortgat, which were most competitive in cost terms and at the same time very high quality.
