We scheduled our move with Magnus Movers 3 weeks beforehand and they were friendly and helpful. We had to be a bit flexible on dates because their spots filled up quickly, but we thought that everything was ready for the big day.
However the morning of the move, a completely different company (Alfa) showed up. Magnus did not answer our multiple calls to clarify the situation, and so we were forced to go ahead. When we were later able to reach Magnus, they revealed that our move had been subcontracted out to a third party because Magnus didn't have enough capacity that day after all!
The team we received were experts at using a ladder lift, but terrible at planning and packing the truck. In fact, they even provided bad advice about packing the truck and set us back by about half an hour. It was very much a do-it-yourself move, but with a rented ladder-lift team of 2 people. This was not our intention at all, we were willing to help, but wanted professionals doing the majority of the work and had requested 3 movers. We had previously worked with teams of 2 movers that were very energetic and did 80% of the work, but we were very disappointed because this team had very limited motivation.
The movers acted like they were only responsible for the operation of the ladder lift and did not do anything outside of loading and unloading it. We were responsible for handing boxes and furniture to the top ladderlift operator and then taking them from the bottom ladderlift operator and Tetrising it in the truck. This required providing our own 2 assistants at both the top and the bottom (2 paid movers + 2 customers + 2 friends = 6 people required in total).
The movers also provided no guidance on the order of packing a truck and happily sent down all of the light, sensitive boxes before the heavier and bigger ones, resulting in chaos when packing the truck. They also brought only 6 moving blankets for a full truckload of belongings, so our belongings received a large number of scratches and dings from all the surfaces that could not be adequately protected.

Very happy with the job they did for us. Very fast and hard workers, and they went the extra mile for us. Our move was done in less than 2.5 hrs (incl ladderlift setup at both places). Also, the booking process was very easy. I would definitely work with them again.

I would advise against hiring this company, because recently, they tried to extract a 150€ cancellation fee of a friend of mine because 2 weeks before her moving date, she notified them about not needing their services anymore...
